An unusual way to stay? A houseboat, of course!Not far from the city centre, heading south towards the Van Gogh Bridge, the urban landscape gives way to nature and boats floating on the calm waters of the Canal from Arles to Bouc. Between them, the Saint Louis, a former commercial boat of 1930 restored and developed in 2012, of modern design while respecting the aquatic environment. At the bridge level is the terraces and the dining room. In the hold illuminated by large windows with mosquito nets the room with a large bed, private bathroom and common areas. The boat also houses the workshop of Michele, sculptor and painter of wooden bas-reliefs, to visit in complete freedom. Good insulation and solid wood coatings everywhere ensure a warm and scantile atmosphere.
