Reattu Museum

Over 4,000 original works are the photographic collection of the MuseumRéattu. This was the first initiative of its kind in a museum of Fine ArtsFrench. The biggest names in photography are represented: Man Ray,Edward Weston, Willy Ronis, ...

The museum has been collecting photography since the 1960’s (4000 works to date), has received gifts from exceptional artists (Picasso, with 57 drawings and two paintings, Alechinsky…), emphasizes sculpture (Germaine Richier, Toni Grand…), and created in 2008 a listening chamber for sound art. A site of convergences, the museum places orders directly with artists, mixes techniques, offers thematic exhibitions and regularly renews the works exposed, with the aim of discovering art differently.
